A Coup Unfolding in Slow Motion

Somewhere in the world right now there is a coup unfolding.

A slow-motion one, granted, carried out in a gradual series of steps, of ever-escalating brazenness. Its perpetrators testing the waters as they go, seeing exactly what all they can get away with.

What their public will let them get away with.

I won't share here exactly where it appears to be taking place. But I feel sorry for their people! A once great nation. With a broad mass of gullible if not dangerously dumb citizens and voters.
